well.. after much discussion we have now changed the fact the character i portray is time and the controller of time but is now the librarian.. who care for and looks after the memory library. we have now amid the character down a more narrator type role, linking the audience in with the play and often breaking the 4th wall. the librarians follow the characters through the story and often interfere with things to help them along.
Due to this change we have had to remove the songs that we had written for the antagonists as they were not appropriate. this change was very drastic and happen only a week and half before our first 30 minuet performance to the Age UK centre, a lot of work had to be done including the re-write of the opening scene, ( which was a muddle of confusion as three people wrote the same scene as no one had been designated to write it) i have learnt from this process that communication and its clarity is key, for the opening we settled on a mix match of two.
