In the after college rehearsal today we decided that due to only having one half of the cast to go thought the librarians actions and lines from the first half for those that had not performed it to age uk. Karl and I went through and marked everything out with the help of the opposite cast, and then did a quick run through to get it up to speed to make sure we had remembered everything.
Also during the rehearsal we had a quick production meeting where we decided the plan of the this week and what we wanted to achieve which i have put in a separate post. We aim to rig out our lighting plan and try some small bits and pieces with that in our next rehearsal as well as what we have to cover in our next lessons ( particular scenes) such as utilising Rose's movement based lessons to device the book, memory, life event scene which involves passing of books between both the young and old couple but then starts to deteriorate as the young couple leave and the old remain, symbolising Evies loss of memory.
This scene see the role reversal of how Evie nursed Alfie from his injuries from the war to Alfie having to care for Evie as her mind deteriorates.
